Provincial nominee programs (PNP)
Data-backed overviews of each province’s nominee streams, draws, and how openly scores are published.
Self-assessment information and estimates — not a decision about your case, and not legal advice.
Ontario
OINP is restructuring — the old streams are closing and a new Workforce Priority stream is expected to open.
British Columbia
BC PNP runs regular SIRS draws by category (Skilled Worker, Healthcare, Tech), with a published pool.
Alberta
AAIP publishes the richest data (draws, allocation burn-down, pool) — low-score streams exist, but the federal allocation is shrinking.
Manitoba
MPNP uses a 1000-point EOI system with regular draws; business draws are currently paused.
Saskatchewan
SINP moved to intake windows on a 100-point grid; watch for open windows rather than fixed draw dates.
Nova Scotia
Nova Scotia publishes monthly selection counts and target occupations, but does not publish a score cutoff.
New Brunswick
New Brunswick invites by stream (ITA-based); ties to the province and a job offer strengthen your case.
Newfoundland & Labrador
Newfoundland & Labrador uses an EOI priority system with limited score disclosure.
Prince Edward Island
PEI runs monthly EOI draws on a 100-point system; labour and business streams are active.
Northwest Territories
Northwest Territories is employer-driven with no EOI, no score and no pool — look at employer requirements.
Yukon
Yukon is employer-driven with no EOI, no score and no pool — look at employer requirements.
Why some provinces show no PNP cutoff
Transparency varies across all 11 provincial/territorial programs: some publish EOI scores, others only invitation counts or occupation lists, and some publish almost no scores.
Northway labels “no cutoff published” honestly — we do not invent numbers. Compare your profile with each province’s streams, recent draws and official links instead of “easiest province” myths.
EE-aligned nominations and non-EE nomination paths differ. Allocations and pauses move quickly — trust official pages and the verified dates shown here.
Provincial figures come from public provincial pages and synced draws; missing data is labelled.
Common questions
- Can I still apply if there is no cutoff?
- Sometimes yes, but selection may be employer-driven, invitation-only or occupation-targeted rather than a public EOI score. Read the official stream page.
- Is PNP always easier than Express Entry?
- No. Some provinces are highly competitive or paused. PNP is another toolkit, not an automatic shortcut.
- How do I compare my score?
- Run the CRS/eligibility assessment, then open the province page for recent draws and stream rules; where no cutoff exists, focus on occupation and employer conditions.
