How to read Express Entry cutoffs
Each round publishes a minimum CRS, invitations issued and a category. Comparing your estimate only shows how you would have fared historically — not what the next round will do.
All-program and CEC-style rounds usually sit higher; French and some occupation categories can run much lower. Filter by category when you read trends — do not blend unlike rounds on one line.
Pool charts show crowding near a score band; they are snapshots, not a guaranteed queue position.

Common questions
- Where is the latest Express Entry cutoff?
- The top of this board is the most recent round. You can also follow the updates hub and IRCC’s official rounds page.
- Does a lower cutoff mean it is easier?
- Not necessarily. Category rounds target different pools; size and policy goals change. Compare like with like.
- If I am just above the last line, am I safe?
- No. The next line can rise, and you must be in the pool with program eligibility. Treat the readout as a map, not a promise.
