Ontario has closed its former streams and is rebuilding around a new Workforce Priority framework.

New Workforce Priority streams expected to open: TEER 0–3, TEER 4–5, and self-employed physicians.
What to prepare now
- Get your language test (IELTS/CELPIP or TEF/TCF) done and valid.
- Complete an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for foreign study.
- Confirm your occupation's NOC code and TEER category.
- Keep your federal Express Entry profile ready — most Ontario paths build on it.
